Feb Report – Minsu\r\n김민수 2월 유학생활 보고서:(주: 민수는 2004년 12월 30일 한국을 출발하여 현재 캐나다 밴쿠버 아일앤드 코목스 에있는 중학교를 다니다 홈스테이가 적당치 못하여 2월에 홈스테이와 학교를 옮겼습니다. )\r\n==================================================================\r\nMinSu seems to be thriving in his new environment. \r\n\r\n민수가 학교와 홈스테이를 옮기고 나서 상당히 좋아진 것 같습니다. \r\n\r\nHe has a full schedule of classes including Math 9, Information technology (a computer class), Foods, Multi-Media, Woodwork, Advanced Flight, Pottery and Physical Education.\r\n\r\n 민수는 7학년 이지만 9학년 수학을 포함, 컴퓨터, 요리, 멀티미디아, 조각, 상급비행과목, 도자기와 체육등 전과목을 수강하고 있습니다. \r\n\r\n Until the end of April, he will be receiving help with English during one of the blocks as well.\r\n\r\n 4월 까지는 하루 한 시간은 영어 특강을 받을 것 입니다. \r\n\r\nThat teacher reports that Minsu is `a good student and well-liked by his peers.` \r\n\r\n선생님께서 민수가 정말 좋은 학생이고 동료들에게 인기가 많은 학생이라 하셨습니다.\r\n\r\n He is showing `an enthusiasm for learning`, and is settling in to Cape Lazo school very well.\r\n\r\n 민수는 학업에 열중하며 카프라조 중학교에 매우 잘 적응하였습니다. \r\n\r\nAfter school, he has tutoring once a week, and in three weeks time that will increase to twice a week. \r\n\r\n 방과후에 민수는 일주일에 한번씩 과외를 받고 있으며 3주후 부터는 주 2회를 받을 것입니다. \r\n\r\n He seems to be very comfortable in his new school as he went to a school dance the first week he was there. \r\n\r\n 민수가 간 첫번째 주에 학교 댄스파티에 참가하고나서 새로 옮긴 학교에 대단히 만족하는 것 같습니다.\r\n\r\n At home, Minsu seems very comfortable with the new host family. He godson motorbike rides with the boys, and plays basketball and football with them and their friends in the front of the house where there is a large area for play. The family have taken him out in the zodiac,\r\n\r\n집에서 민수는 새로운 홈스테이 가족과 편하게 지내는 것 같습니다. 형 고든과 오토바이도 타고, 형제들과 어울려 집앞에 있는 넓은 광장에서 야구, 축구등을 친구들과 같이 하곤 한답니다. 가족들과 같이 조디악 보트를 타고 바다에 나가서 배에서 밤을 지내며 쿠루즈를 즐기기도 한답니다.\r\n\r\n(boat) and he has been on an overnight cruise on their big boat as well. His host parents are on holidays for three weeks, and the grandparents of family, Arlene and John Peterson, have moved in to the home to supervise and care for the children. \r\n\r\n 홈스테이 엄마,아빠가 3주간 휴가를 떠나십니다. 그래서 할아버지 할머니(아렌, 존 피터슨)가 아이들을 돌보아 주시러 오셨어요.\r\n\r\nMinsu helps with the household chores, offers assistance to his host mother, and has been very cooperative, and therefore the host parents have no hesitation about leaving him in the care of the grandparents. \r\n\r\n민수가 집안 일도 도와 주고, 엄마도 도와 주고 아주 협조적으로 잘 하는걸 보고 엄마 아빠는 할아버지, 할머니께 부탁하고 마음 편하게 떠나실 수 있답니다.\r\n\r\n Minsu has made an excellent beginning to his new school and family, and is to be commended for his efforts. We are very pleased with him.\r\n\r\n 민수는 새로운 학교와 홈스테이에 훌륭하게 적응 하였고,또한 노력 하고 있습니다. 우리 가족 모두는 민수가 우리 가족이 된 점 아주 기쁘게 생각 하고 있습니다. \r\n\r\n
